Union Street Media – a web design company in Burlington, VT, USA – began this blog in 2007 to serve clients, as well as anyone in related industries. We focus on a variety of web technology topics, with a primary focus on Internet Marketing. Although more than half our clients come to us for real estate web design, we serve a fair number of ecommerce, education, non-profit, and other kinds of general interactive, corporate web sites.
As a variety of Union Street Media staff contribute to the blog, here’s a quick run-down of the players:
Spencer Taylor, our Business Development Manager, waxes poetic about all things real estate. A fun & gregarious fellow, his topics include internet marketing strategies, new site launches and whatever-is-in-his-head, which is (oftentimes) pretty interesting!
John Merse recently joined our team as our Marketing Manager. John comes to us with several years experience in the digital marketing space. His specialty is in developing digital strategies to establish and leverage a business’ online presence for maximum exposure and return. Look to his posts for direction on SEO, SEM, social media and all topics related to business marketing.
Ted Adler is our Founder & President. His posts often cover broader business issues, announcements about Union Street Media and real estate-related musings that come to him at the odd hours of the day. He’s a regular attendee at Inman Real Estate Connect Conferences and has followed the online real estate industry since 2002.
Tom Cull is our Internet Marketing Analyst. When he’s not buried deep in the bowels of Google Analytics discovering the next break through idea for one of our clients, he’s sharing broadly applicable ideas he discovers from following the social networks and looking at all that data. Tom has a background in video production and comments on real estate video trends too.
Minna Brown is our Account Manager – which means she’s at the disposal of USM’s 400-some clients. It’s up to her to make sure USM clients have a good idea of what they can do on their sites, what new products we’re rolling out, and make sure things are running smoothly. She writes the USM newsletter, the Word on the Street, and sends out updates on events and site launches.
Andy Vota is our VP for Site Development and Programming and posts mostly in the realm of web technology. When he’s not orienting new-hires and building cool new tools for our clients, he finds time to stop in and drop an occasional post or two.
G. Dewald, our former Director of Web Strategy, wrote about Internet marketing, social media, site optimization and site analytics.
