If you wanted to grow a billion dollar software company, where would you do it?  Most people would answer Silicon Valley.  However, Vermont is home to both Dealer.com and MyWebGrocer, two software companies that have sold or have valuations of over $1B.

Innovation Week was started by BTV Ignite help raise awareness of Vermont as a great place to live and do business.  There are a number of events that have gone on this week leading up to TechJam.  Included in the line up was a discussion held among three software executives this week on advice for start up companies.  The panel included Melissa Dever from C2, Brian Leffler from Instrumart, and Ted Adler, the founder of Union Street Media.
